The Xcelerator Method

Xcelerator and Sanskriti University bring all the stakeholders - students, educators and industry, together to create an experiential and contextual learning platform for higher education. Our method is marked by a shift from traditional learning theories adopts a completely new approach to learning as it is backed by new-age learning theories such as connectivism, project-based learning, and 21st century skills in its domain-based specialized degree programs.

Project Based Learning

Project-based learning (PBL) is an integral part of our method. PBL encourages learners to delve deeper into a domain, to explore, to reflect, to make decisions, and draw conclusions by attempting a project. It aims to make them solve real-life challenges and problems in that domain and is designed to provide students the right balance of theory and application. The method provides students with a safe environment to experiment and push their boundaries without the fear of failure. The methodology teaches ownership and encourages the students to think and work independently.

The Employability Score - Based on the secialized degree program taken by the student, the Xcelerator emloyability platform helps them to build a portfolio of skills aligned to their career aspirations. The platform creates a gamification layer to integrate and align everything the student does (education, exposure, experience) to specific job roles, thereby creating an Employability Score.

The Xcelerator platform is built to deliver. It actively supports a hybrid delivery model that allows learning to extend beyond the classroom. It also allows us to leverage our industry SMEs for best-in-class content. It builds on a Learning Management System and augments it with a set of features that enables student engagement and improves learning outcomes.

  A vibrant community of industry and academic mentors, companies, institutions, and students centered around learning feeds, campus feeds, and clubs.
• Projects -
  The platform is seeded with more than 200 projects in industry relevant domains. Academic mentors (professors), industry mentors, and companies continue to add projects commensurate to their teaching and evaluation needs.
• Learning Paths -
  Microlearning curated for actively engaging students and extending the learning process beyond the classroom.
• Career Tracker -
  Each student gets a career tracker to help them plan and monitor how they are doing against their career goals.
• Jobs and Internships -
  Our industry partner list is 400 strong and continues to grow. We have more than 3000 jobs and internships at any given point on the platform. Our industry liaison team adds 30-50 new companies every month.
• Execution dashboards and analytics -
  Training and placements officers, mentors, institution administrators, and companies get dashboards to help them track various activities and outcomes on the platform.
