COVID-19
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered Corona Virus. Most people who fall sick with COVID-19 experience mild to moderate symptoms of Cold, Cough and/or Fever and recover without special treatment. COVID-19 is broadly classified into two types: Symptomatic and Asymptomatic.
Asymptomatic COVID-19 is a situation when the person is suffering from the COVID-19 disease and the symptoms are not explicitly visible or felt. Symptomatic COVID-19 as the name specifies has explicit symptoms of the disease in the patients.
COVID-19 is the infectious disease caused by the coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, which is a respiratory pathogen. WHO first learned about this new virus from cases in Wuhan, The People's Republic of China on 31 December 2019.
We at Sanskriti University are committed to the cause of maintaining an optimal level of health and hygiene at the University Campus. All faculty and staff members are committed to the cause of the Health and Safety of all the stakeholders of the university including students, employees, visitors, etc.
Our team of Corona Warriors is committed to maintaining the campus sanitized 24 X 7 X 365.
Precautions and Recommendations:
- Take a balanced diet with an optimal quantity of milk and sunlight bath to the body.
- Wear a face cover/mask.
- Save lives and protect yourself.
- Wash your hands at periodical intervals.
- Maintain a safe distance from others.
- Keep your neck covered with Muffler / Scarf/ Woolen Clothes.
- Avoid traveling unless very urgent.
- Practice Yoga Daily to Boost Immunity.
- Drink warm water and avoid eating /drinking cold/frozen food / eatables /drinkables.
- Sleep for 8 Hours Daily at night for Strong Immunity.
- Take an adequate dosage of Vitamins C and D in the body.
- Walk Daily.
- Avoid touching dirty surfaces of products /gadgets in public use.
- Sanitize door locks/lift buttons/door handles and other gadgets being touched by multiple hands.
- Use PPE Kits while traveling to the wards of COVID-19 patients / hospital.

- COVID- Poster Competition was organized.
- Conducted Online Yoga session for students, faculty & staff members to boost their immunity.
- Helpline was announced for students for Psychological Counselling of Students for overcoming stress due to online classes.
- Sanitization Tunnel has been created at the main gate of the University to sanitize all the visitors and employees of the University.
- Thermal Scanning of all visitors to the University was started.
- Training and Sensitization program was organized for all the security guards.
- Sanitization by automatic devices are being done to keep the whole campus sanitized on a sustained /ongoing basis.
- Frequent Fumigation and fogging is being done to mitigate the risk of mosquitoes and other small insects/pests.
- Disposable dishes are being used more to avoid the spread of any kind of infection/contamination.
- Travel of most of the employees has been restricted to mitigate the risk of the spread of COVID-19.
- COVID-19 LI Hospital was started at Sanskriti Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital to quarantine the COVID-19 patients in coordination with district administration free of cost.
