The Department of Civil Engineering at Sanskriti University is a relatively well established department, and is fully developed, both in terms of faculty and infrastructure.
The department has people of eminence from academia as well as industry, who have exposure to future cutting – edge research programs in the field of Hydraulics, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Geodesy & Mapping, Geographic Information System & Remote Sensing and Global Positioning Systems.
India is going through an intense phase of rapid infrastructure development. This throws up possibilities of absorption of Civil Engineers in a great way. Presently, huge demand and supply gap exist for Civil Engineers in the market. The effect of this gap is manifested in the fact that all students of 2010-¬2014 & 2011-15 batches of this department and also all eligible/willing students of present final year batch (2012-16) are placed in reputed companies such as GR Infra Projects Ltd, KMC Construction, PNC Infratech Ltd, Sushee Infra Pvt Ltd, TCS, Theme Engineering, Unihorn, Vishwa Infrastructure, etc.
Apart from the above, many companies are in touch with the department for immediate recruitment of students of this department. Some of the students also joined government department as well as have gone abroad for higher studies.
The rapid pace of development and the need for skilled engineers has opened up employment opportunities for M.Tech graduates.
