Institutional Training Programme by PCRA

Sanskriti University organized a training programme on Energy Conservation to familiarize the students with this hot topic to protect the nation and beyond.

Mr. Nikhileshwar Jha, programme faculty of Petroleum Conservation and Research Association, graced the event. Dr. Devendra Pathak, Vice Chancellor inaugurated the event by presenting a bouquet to Mr. Jha. Dr. Pathak informed the students that energy is an indispensable part of our lives. We extract this energy from coal, petroleum, natural gas and similar resources. Optimization in the use of these resources is the key to our healthy survival.

Mr. Nikhileshwar Jha expressed his concern about the rampant use of energy resources. He said that man is habituated with all the means of luxury and all these forms of luxury demand high energy consumption. On the other hand, energy resources are limited and precious. This creates a conflict. Govt. of India also gives the slogan 'Save energy, Save Future'. He further added that the initiative taken by the government will only be successful if the youth understands the gravity of this problem and spread awareness amongst the masses.

Dr. Sanjiv Kumar Singh, Associate Dean urged the gathering to take inspiration from these programmes and search for alternative energy resources. He also stressed on the judicious use of available energy resources.

The programme ended with a question answer session where Mr. Nikhileshwar Jha satisfied the queries of the students.
