Industrial Visit at MSME, Agra

Knowledge completes its full circle when class room learning is supplemented by practical exposure. The MBA & BBA students were taken to industrial visit at MSME, Agra with a view to give them the practical exposure of management styles and functioning of organization. Before proceeding for the factory visit, all the students were briefed about the company so that they can get all the queries answered at the time of visit. On 12 October 2017, a team comprising forty students along with two faculty members Mr. Devendra Kumar and Ms. Sagarika Goswami reached MSME, Agra at the scheduled time.

As soon as the team reached MSME, they were welcomed by Mr. Vikash (Asstt. Director), Mr. Yogendra (Faculty) and Ms. Ritu (faculty) of MSME and a brief detail of the organisation were presented to the students. After wards, they were divided into two groups. One group was guided by Mr. Yogendra and the second group was guided by Ms. Ritu. During the factory visit students also visited different departments of MSME like product, welding, computer etc. where heads of department explained them about the functions and scope of the concerned department. They also made students aware about the opportunities to become an entrepreneur. After completion of visit all students were gathered into seminar hall of MSME where all students were addressed by Principal Director and Deputy Director MSME. Principal Director gave the knowledge about the benefits and opportunities in business. Deputy Director was addressing about qualities and skills required to become an entrepreneur. It took almost four hours to see complete process which was followed by number of questions by the students.

It is rightly said that 'See & know' is better than 'read & learn'. Students have got real feel of company's working after this visit. They got a chance to augment their theoretical knowledge with practical implication. This will help students to understand subject matter clearly, in future.
