Radio Kisan Diwas 2019 by Prasar Bharati at Sanskriti University

Mathura. Prasar Bharti (Government of India) and Sanskriti University organized "Radio Kisan Divas" in the Seminar Hall of Sanskriti University. Ms. Didi Sudevi from Germany was the Chief Guest of the event and she addressed all the farmers of the Braj region and said that Cow has been playing an important role in the rural economy. The cows have been kept as pets in the Braj region ever since the period of Lord Krishna. But she regretted to inform that most of the farmers take care of the cow only till the cow gives milk and they stop taking care of the cow after she discontinues giving milk which is considered to be unfair. She emphasized the fact to all the farmers that Cow is not only important from the perspective of religion but is also very important from the commercial view angle. She also said that apart from the milk, the cowdung and the urine of the cow are not less important than any of the drugs. I shall request the government to facilitate the culture of keeping cows as pet and the government should motivate and incentivize the culture of keeping the cows as pets.

On this occasion, Chancellor Shri Sachin Gupta said that celebration of Radio Kisan Divas is a novel attempt and initiative towards giving a new direction to the farmers and students of the Braj region. He said that he sincerely believes that this will benefit all strata of the society. In the times to come, Sanskriti University shall establish the soil testing laboratory and shall make necessary arrangements to facilitate the farmers by testing the soil of their land. Mr. Sachin Gupta said that the University shall sincerely strive towards the overall upliftment of the Braj region and also work for the overall development of the students and the farmers of the Braj Region.

The Chief Programme Coordinator Mr. Sarvesh Kumar shared his thoughts and views about the importance of the “Radio Kisan Divas”. The speakers emphasized the fact that radio is still one of the simplest and cheapest modes of entertainment. The relationship between the farmer and radio is very old. On the occasion of Radio Kisan Divas, over 250 farmers were sensitized about the modern techniques of farming, strategies to enhance the farm productivity, dairy farming, goar farming, and various other developmental programmes of the government.

Dr. Dharmendra Kumar Singh who is resident of Nagla Udaiya shared his experiences pertaining to dairy farming and its various positive commercial and profitability aspects apart from the religious and farm productivity maximization aspects. Dr. Singh also shared his personal experiences of dairy farming to all the farmers to motivate them for dairy farming. Dr. K K Saraswat shared his knowledge about the Sex Cell Technique being used in dairy farming which helps in birth of only cow which can lead to economic prosperity of the farmers. Young Agricultural Entrepreneur Mr. Ankit Gupta shared his detailed knowledge about ICT and commercialization of agriculture. Dr. Brajmohan shared his knowledge about Poly House Farming and its possibilities in the Braj Region. Shri Satyavir Singh shared the knowledge to the farmers about how to bring the cost of agriculture and fertilizers can be brought down to make agriculture a viable and profitable opportunity. District forest officer of Mathura, Dr. Jagdish Chandra shared the various schemes of the forest department which can be leveraged by the farmers to enhance their overall financial position comfortably by focusing on cultivation of plants and by planting trees. Principal Scientist Dr. S.K. Dube said that the soil of Chhat region is of sub-optimal quality due to which the farmers of this are suffering badly. Dr. Dubey said that the concerted efforts of the farmers and the government together can help the farmers in getting rid of the problem of saline underground water being faced by the farmers of the region. Principal Scientist of CIRG, Makhdoom Dr. Ashok Kumar shared the fact that in India we have over 13 crore goats of over 34 species which discussing about the advantages of goat farming. He also said that goat farming can become a profitable business if the farmers are able to do it on a large scale. Dr. Ashok Kumar also said that the milk of goat is highly nutritious and is comparably equal to the nutrition value of the mother’s milk. On this occasion the farmers were also informed about strategies and techniques to increase the overall productivity of the Rabi crops and how to safeguard the crops from the menace of the white flies which significantly damage the production of the crops. Dr. Rana Singh, Vice Chancellor of the University shared the details to the farmers as to how they can get the right price and value of the crops produced by them. The programmes was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Didi Sudevi, in the presence of Chancellor Shri Sachin Gupta, Program Director Sarvesh Kumar, OSD Meenakshi Sharma, Vice Chancellor Dr. Rana Singh and Dr. Satyavrat Singh by offering flowers on the statue of Lordess Saraswati and lighting the lamp. Shri Satyavrat Singh shared about the various activities of All India Radio. The vote of thanks was delivered by Program Director Shri Sarvesh Kumar.

रेडियो किसान दिवस पर वक्ताओं ने साझा किए अपने विचार
संस्कृति यूनिवर्सिटी और आकाशवाणी मथुरा के प्रयासों को किसानों ने सराहा

मथुरा। शुक्रवार 15 फरवरी को संस्कृति यूनिवर्सिटी और आकाशवाणी मथुरा द्वारा रेडियो किसान दिवस का आयोजन विश्वविद्यालय के सभागार में किया गया। इसमें मुख्य अतिथि पद्मश्री के लिए नामित दीदी सुदेवी ने मथुरा जिले के किसानों से कहा कि ब्रज क्षेत्र में गाय का विशेष महत्व है। भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के काल से ही यहां गौपालन को महत्व मिलता रहा है। अफसोस की बात है कि आज किसान गाय की तभी तक सेवा करते हैं जब तक वह दूध देती है, यह उचित नहीं है। किसान भाइयों गाय धार्मिक ही नहीं व्यावसायिक दृष्टि से भी बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है। गाय का दूध ही नहीं इसका गोबर और मूत्र किसी औषधि से कम नहीं है। मैं सरकार से आग्रह करूंगी कि वह गौपालन को न केवल बढ़ावा दे बल्कि किसानों को इसके लिए प्रेरित और प्रोत्साहित भी करे।

इस अवसर पर कुलाधिपति सचिन गुप्ता ने कहा कि आकाशवाणी मथुरा और संस्कृति यूनिवर्सिटी रेडियो किसान दिवस के माध्यम से ब्रज के किसानों और छात्र-छात्राओं को एक नई दिशा देने का ही प्रयास है। उम्मीद है कि इससे सभी को लाभ मिलेगा। भविष्य में विश्वविद्यालय प्रयोगशाला स्थापित कर किसानों की मिट्टी की सेहत जांचने की व्यवस्था करेगा। श्री गुप्ता ने कहा कि ब्रज, ब्रज के बच्चे एवं किसानों के समग्र विकास के लिए संस्कृति यूनिवर्सिटी हरसम्भव प्रयास करेगी।

कार्यक्रम प्रमुख सर्वेश कुमार ने किसानों और कृषि संकाय के छात्र-छात्राओं को रेडियो दिवस की उपयोगिता के विषय में जानकारी दी। इस अवसर पर किसानों को बताया गया कि सूचना एवं मनोरंजन का सबसे सस्ता और सरल माध्यम रेडियो ही है। रेडियो और किसान का संबंध बहुत पुराना है। रेडियो दिवस के अवसर पर 250 से अधिक महिला और पुरुष किसानों को खेती किसानी की आधुनिकतम तकनीक, मिट्टी की उर्वरा शक्ति बढ़ाने, गौपालन, बकरी पालन सहित सरकार द्वारा दी जा रही सुविधाओं आदि की जानकारी दी गई।

नगला उदैया, हाथरस निवासी डा. धर्मेन्द्र कुमार सिंह ने किसानों को व्यावसायिक गौपालन से होने वाले लाभों की विस्तार से जानकारी दी। डा. सिंह ने प्रगतिशील गौ पालन के अपने अनुभव भी किसानों को बताए। डा. के.के. सारस्वत ने किसानों को सेक्ससेल तकनीक की जानकारी देते हुए कहा कि किसान पशुपालन के माध्यम से अपनी आर्थिक स्थिति सुदृढ़ कर सकते हैं। युवा कृषि व्यवसायी अंकित गुप्ता ने आई.सी.टी. और कृषि के व्यावसायीकरण के बारे में विस्तार से जानकारी दी। डा. ब्रजमोहन ने पाली हाउस खेती की ब्रज में सम्भावना पर प्रकाश डाला। श्री सत्यवीर सिंह ने किसानों को बताया कि वह कैसे उर्वरक और लागत में कमी लाकर कृषि को लाभ का व्यवसाय बना सकते हैं। जिला उद्यान अधिकारी मथुरा डा. जगदीश चंद्र ने उद्यान विभाग की योजनाओं को विस्तार से समझाते हुए कहा कि किसान भाई बागवानी के माध्यम से अपनी स्थिति सहजता से सुधार सकते हैं।

प्रधान वैज्ञानिक डा. एस.के. दुबे ने कहा कि छाता तहसील क्षेत्र में मिट्टी एवं जल संरक्षण की स्थिति संतोषजनक नहीं है, यही वजह है कि यहां का किसान परेशान है। डा. दुबे ने कहा कि सरकार और किसानों के प्रयासों से यहां की मिट्टी को उपजाऊ बनाने के साथ ही क्षेत्रवासियों को खारे पानी से निजात दिलाई जा सकती है। प्रधान वैज्ञानिक सी.आई.एल.जी. मखदूम डा. अशोक कुमार ने बकरी पालन पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा कि हमारे देश में 34 प्रजातियों की कोई साढ़े 13 करोड़ बकरियां हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि बकरी पालन सबसे लाभदायी धंधा हो सकता है बशर्ते किसान इनका बड़ी संख्या में पालन करें। डा. अशोक कुमार ने कहा कि बकरी का दूध मां के दूध की ही तरह बच्चों का पौष्टिक आहार है। इस अवसर पर किसानों को रबी की फसल की पैदावार बढ़ाने, सफेद मक्खी के प्रकोप से फसलों को बचाने की जानकारी भी दी गई। संस्कृति यूनिवर्सिटी के कुलपति डा. राणा सिंह ने किसानों को बताया कि वह किस तरह बाजार में अपनी उपज का सही लाभ प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। इससे पूर्व कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन कुलाधिपति सचिन गुप्ता, कार्यक्रम की मुख्य अतिथि दीदी सुदेवी, कार्यक्रम प्रमुख सर्वेश कुमार, ओ.एस.डी. मीनाक्षी शर्मा आदि द्वारा मां सरस्वती की प्रतिमा पर पुष्पार्चन और दीप प्रज्वलित कर किया गया। श्री सत्यव्रत सिंह ने विस्तार से केन्द्र की गतिविधियों पर प्रकाश डाला। कार्यक्रम का संचालन आकाशवाणी के कार्यक्रम अधिकारी सत्यव्रत सिंह ने किया। धन्यवाद ज्ञापन आकाशवाणी के कार्यक्रम प्रमुख सर्वेश कुमार ने किया।
