Guest Lecture On 'Cloud Computing' Organized By Sanskriti University

A guest lecture on 'Cloud Computing' was organized at Sanskriti University. Mr. Anand Kumar & Mr. Manoj Mishra were guest speakers.

This guest lecture was a part of series of guest lectures, seminars and conferences planned for each academic session. Infact, Sanskriti University is organizing such lectures on a regular basis for providing an exposure to the students as a part of co-curricular activities that complements the academic rigors as per university syllabi.

Mr. Kumar explained that cloud computing is a type of Internet-based computing that provides shared computer processing, resources and data to computers and other devices on demand. He said that cloud computing and storage solutions provide users and enterprises with various capabilities to store and process their data.

Mr. Mishra stated that cloud computing allows companies to avoid up-front infrastructure costs as well as it enables organizations to focus on their core businesses instead of spending time and money on computer infrastructure.

Prof. P.C. Chhabra, Executive Director, thanked the speakers as well as the students for showing interest in learning new concepts on Cloud Computing. He also expressed his confidence about positive impact of this lecture on the career of students who are the future technologists.

Dr. D.K. Singh, Dean Academics, presented a memento to the speakers as a token of remembrance.

Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Singh (Associate Dean), Dr. Amit Jain (Principal - Polytechnic) and Head of Department (Computer Science & Engineering) were also present during the seminar.
