Students of Sanskriti University Pledge to Perform Yoga Everyday

It is essential to take out a certain amount of time everyday for yoga to lead a healthy and fruitful life. Yoga keeps our mind cool and body fit. It gives a rhythmic essence to our lives. Providing us with physical, mental and spiritual peace, it directs us to a stress free and positively vibes life. On 23rd September in Yoga Workshop of Sanskriti University, Dr. Ashwani Kumar Singh, Associate Professor (School of Medical and Allied science), explained the students about yoga and its benefits. Yogic activities started with the chanting of Gayatri Mantra.

Dr. Singh further added that yoga has a strong positive reinforcement on the personality development of an individual. It increases the concentration level of an individual. To lead a successful life, we should keep our mind, body and soul in sync and yoga provides it all. If we adopt yogic activities, we can't be stopped from being successful.

Yoga guru says that yoga teaches us to believe. It gives a complete medical therapy to our body. In today's world of pollution, yoga is the only treatment sans side effects. A few minutes of yoga can enhance our immunity giving us a disease free life.

After a detailed introduction of yoga, Dr. Singh taught some yogic activities to the students and the faculty. Everybody pledged to practice this newly learnt activity every day.
