The School of Fashion Designing Organized Fashion Art Gallery and 3D Wall Art Exhibition to motivate and inspire the students to excel par excellence in the process of designing modern attire and other design artifacts. The Competition was organized to give a catalytic boost to the collaborative and competitive spirit among the students pursuing various under graduate and post graduate programmes offered by the School of Fashion Designing.

The students of First Year, Second Year and Third Year of the various programmes made 12 valuable contributions in the Fashion Art Gallery and 3D Wall Art Exhibition. The students were divided into various groups and the different group of students worked together to prepare their project for participation in the Fashion Art Gallery and 3D Wall Art Exhibition.

The most appreciable dimension of the fashion art gallery and 3D Art Exhibition was the focus of the students on frugal innovation in the various projects which they submitted in the Fashion Art Gallery and 3D Wall Art Exhibition. They focused on carving out the best possible innovations in design at the lowest possible cost by maximizing the use of waste materials like used glasses, ropes, card board, waste paper, old wool, old and useless.

The wonderful pieces of art and designer clothes prepared and displayed by the students was a reflection of an optimum blend of commitment of dynamic faculty members coupled with the indomitable spirit of the students to deliver world class performance in fashion designing and arts. The projects displayed in the Fashion Art Gallery and 3D Wall Art Exhibition were a rich and varied blend of Nail and String arts, Madhubani Painting, 3D wall painting, Quilling, Freestyle drawing, Zigzag Drawing, Round Drawing, 3D Conceptual Arts, and many other projects of contemporary times. The 3D design of Cycle in natural ambience and the 3D design of Eiffel Tower using various words and letters was among the most appreciable works done by the students.

The students delivered a mesmerizing contribution in form of various arts and designer dresses. The audience were stunned and spellbound at the special artistic design made by the students. This will pave the way for the students to participate in various national and international competitions. Chancellor Shri Sachin Gupta said that the students should focus on experiential learning and project based learning to get the competitive edge above the competitors. He said that the students should participate in various national and international events to get global exposure. Pro-Chancellor Rajesh Gupta said that the creativity and innovation displayed by the students is an excellent refection of the strong learning orientation of the students followed by their passion to transform their learnings into physical artefacts and designer dresses.

The event was adjudged by OSD to Chancellor Mrs. Minakshi Sharma, Vice Chancellor Dr. Rana Singh and Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhay Kumar. The winners of the competition will be given awards and all other participants will be given Certificates of Participation. The excellent work of designer dresses was so enticing that the OSD Mrs. Minakshi Sharma, and Vice Chancellor Dr. Rana Singh promised the students a Retail Store on Campus to promote the sale of designer dresses and artifacts prepared or produced by the students of School of Fashion Designing.

The School of Fashion Designing has been offering BA in Fashion Designing, Post Graduate Diploma in Fashion Designing, MA in Fashion Designing, Diploma in Fashion Designing, Diploma after 10+2 in Fashion Designing. The students pursuing various programmes in the School of Fashion Designing have very strong bent of mind towards innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship.
