Personality Development Programme at Sanskriti University

To achieve overall success in life, one must possess a strong personality. Keeping this in mind, very interactive personality development sessions were organized by University Polytechnic, Sanskriti University for their students to groom their personality in terms of Industrial Requirements. This is the need of the hour as it is essential for holistic development of students and their survival in this competitive world. A motivational lecture was delivered by the speaker Mr. RK Sharma, DGM-Corporate Relation.

Personality development plays a crucial role in enhancing one's personality. The speaker discussed on the importance of self, one's desires, dreams, passions and motivations. Students were told how important their dreams and desires are for developing the personality. He stressed on the need to have a passion in life. Students were also given tips on how to increase their self-esteem. They were also encouraged to be optimistic and to have a positive approach about everything in life. Most importantly, it was emphasized that they should love themselves and never loses confidence.

The speaker discussed on the imperative role at workplace as it decides the way an individual interacts with his fellow workers and responds to various situations. The need to look presentable and smart at workplace was also discussed. He gave innumerable tips for polishing and grooming individuals to make them better, efficient and resourceful for the organization. Also he made a mention of stress reduction and ideas for individuals to face even the worst situations with a smile. This was followed by an immense discussion on the requirement to keep ones personal life separate from professional life. He advocated the importance of personality development essential to bring a change in an individual's attitude, thinking, behavior and mindsets. To strengthen the relationship among co workers and extract the best out of individuals and encourage them to deliver their level best was point of the discussion.

The speaker also provided training on Group Discussions based on Situation Reaction, Group Tasks on a variety of topics ranging from the general to the technical. Focusing on creative and logical thinking, group behavior; inter personal skills, Group initiative, he also mentioned the importance of communication for acquiring greater success and also gave methods to poor communicators in the class to improve their skills.

Towards the end Mr. Vinay Anand, Director Polytechnic delivered the vote of thanks appreciating the efforts of the speaker for a very informative lecture. He also emphasized on the importance of a good personality and proper communication skills requiring the students to spend greater time and efforts for attaining cent percent success in life.

To sum up, it was a well thought-out workshop of motivating the students to discover themselves.
