Management Fest 2016

The school of management, Sankriti University, organized Management Fest on October 22, 2016 with great zeal and enthusiasm. This was an initiative taken by the Campus II. The fest hosted a cultural extravaganza wherein students from Management, BTC, DHP, FD and GT participated. This celebration was with the objective to drive ideas from the primary level among students and focused on future responsive management practices.

The event commenced with the lighting of the traditional lamp and enchanting Saraswathi Vandana .The gathering was addressed by Dr. Ashok Srivastava, Dean (Academics), Sanskriti University who appreciated the efforts and emphasized on efficient management for successful development.

The fest covered a wide range of activities, starting with a poster making competition where the students presented posters on various management topics and innovation ideas.

A quiz competition was then arranged for the students. Every round was a mixed bag of questions from history, sports, books, languages, general knowledge and management. It was very interactive and the questions put forth to the teams were intriguing and exciting. The audience also got a chance to participate every time the teams answered incorrectly.

The teams got a chance to catch up with the leaders and put a tough fight.

Students always benefit from a wide variety of speech and extempore events. Moreover, to improve their communication ability a debate competition was organized on - "Digital India- The Right Time Is Now?" The debate received an overwhelming response from the students. They argued their way out and finally concluded as nothing is perfect, the advancement of technology and mechanization has its own merits and demerits.

A range of emotions were felt all along the fest- happiness, sadness, regret and excitement. Everyone waited with baited breath for the announcement of final scores. Lastly, Mr. Nirmal Kundu, Head of School of Management felicitated the awardees and everyone clapped and cheered for the ecstatic winner.

The efforts of students and organizing committee were well recognized and appreciated while delivering the vote of thanks. Finally the gathering dispersed with the distribution of refreshments.
