Sanskriti University’s students went for Industrial Tour to Spark Minda Group, Noida
- Students got an opportunity to see the live manufacturing process of various components
- Students got an opportunity to learn finer details about Sensor technique based Locks and various other components of Automobile Industry

Mathura. 50 Students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, went for an Industrial Tour to Spark Minda Group, Noida which is core company in the domain of engineering. The components of various leading automobile companies get manufactured at Minda Group, Noida which is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The students understood the complete process of conversion of raw materials to finished goods in form of automobile components. The view of the live manufacturing process helped the students in getting a better understanding of manufacturing process and it instilled self-confidence in the students.

Assistant Professor Dharmendra Singh, Rohini Agrawal accompanied the team of students under the supervision of HOD of Mechanical Department Vincent Balu, during the industrial tour to Minda Group. Company Representative SK Yadav gave detailed information about the various manufacturing processes to the students. He explained the process of manufacturing the required dye from the place of keeping the raw material to the finished goods on a turnkey basis.

Students were also explained about the process of manufacturing the sensor based components from the manufactured dye. The professionals from Minda Group gave detailed explanation about the various components like speedometer, sensors, and allied components being manufactured for the leading automobile companies like Mahindra, Audi etc.

The students were very excited to acquire knowledge, skills and competencies associated with the live manufacturing processes and were glad to learn about quality control processes, dye, storage, finishing etc. University Pro-Chancellor Rajesh Gupta said that students learn very quickly by seeing and doing. To further the cause of experiential learning, industrial visits are conducted on an ongoing basis at Sanskriti University. The University shall organize more industrial trips and provide more opportunities of experiential learning so that the students from technical education can learn more about the practical nuances of their prospective careers. The University is constantly working towards ensuring the career interests of the students for their bright future.
