Dr. Rana Singh honored with "Bihar Gaurav Samman"
Voice of Bihar honoring talents doing for many years

Mathura. Dr. Rana Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Sanskriti University, attended the Bihar Pratibha Award ceremony under the banner of Voice of Bihar and Bihar Dastak, on 8th July, held at the Constitution Club, New Delhi. Shri S.S. Ahluwalia, Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology and Sikkim's Former Governor, Balmiki Prasad Singh, honored Dr. Rana Singh with “Bihar Gaurav Samman” award. On this occasion, along with Dr. Rana Singh, young talents who became successful in the Indian Civil Services Examinationorganized by UPSC and hailing from Bihar were honored.

It is known that the Voice of Bihar and Bihar Dastak have been appreciating the talent for illuminating the name of Bihar in various areas over the last several years. In this connection, this year, about 40 persons, who have illuminated the name of Bihar in other areas including the Indian Administrative Services/Civil Services, were awarded the Bihar Gaurav Samman in a dignified ceremony on July 8, Sunday. These recipients include Dr. Rana Singhthe Vice-Chancellor of Sanskriti University for his contributions in the domain of education. As far as Dr. Rana Singh is concerned, he has made commendable contributions in the field of higher and technical education in India and also in the United Arab Emirates.

In the Annual Honor of the Voice of Bihar and Bihar Dastak, Union State Minister for Electronics and IT, Shri S.S. Ahluwalia, and Shri Balmiki Prasad Singh, Former Governor of Sikkim and Former Home Secretary, appreciated the event and told the participants that after receiving the award, the accountability of the recipients increases further. India is a country of youth, and every successful person should show the right direction to the youth and also to the future generations. On his honor, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Rana Singh said that this is a historic moment. It is a pleasant experience for him to receive this honor in Delhi which is heartlandof the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Chancellor of Sanskriti University, Shri Sachin Gupta expressed happiness about Vice Chancellor-Dr. Rana Singh being honored with “Bihar Gaurav Samman” and said that he has the ability to achieve such honor. Sanskriti University is also proud with his respect. Chancellor Shri Gupta congratulated all respected individuals including Dr. Rana Singh and wished him success for his bright future. On receipt of the prestigious honor of “Bihar Gaurav Samman” by Dr. Rana Singh, Pro-Chancellor Rajesh Gupta, Executive Director, P.C. Chhabra, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. Abhay Kumar etc. congratulated him and expressed happiness.
