Celebration of International Day for Preservation of Ozone Layer at Sanskriti University

Sanskriti University in association with Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board had celebrated International Day for Preservation of Ozone Layer and organized a seminar on this occasion.

The International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer is observed every year on September 16 for the preservation of the ozone layer. Dr Pathak had told that the ozone layer or ozone shield is a region of Earth's stratosphere that absorbs most of the Sun's ultraviolet (UV) radiation. It contains high concentrations of ozone (O3) in relation to other parts of the atmosphere, although still small in relation to other gases in the stratosphere.
