In this programme, students learn the basic farming and horticulture related issues. Students not only learn the basic/traditional techniques but also the contemporary/innovative strategies for a sustainable approach.
Employment avenues open to diploma holders include residential gardens and public parks, institutional grounds, recreational areas, NGOs, and entities related with horticulture and environmental protection. This programme can be instrumental to students interested in horticulture, gardening, landscaping and working for parks and institutional grounds. After doing this programme, the student becomes eligible to run trading business in fertilizers & seeds.
Objective of this programme is to provide education in Agriculture/Horticulture and Allied Sciences with an eye on promoting sustainable growth in the industry by facilitating effective institutional, infrastructural and manpower support.
